Learn to incorporate herbs into your practice in this class of lotions and potions. We will learn about some of the most popular beneficial herbs and how they can enhance your bodywork. This course combines crafting products with hands on work. We will practice making beneficial poultices, compresses, infused oils, and discuss how to source herbs. Herbs and accompanying materials are provided, dress for the mess as we create products and practice using them in our bodywork. You will leave with plenty of products, material, and inspiration.
Rotator Cuff Therapy

We will learn to test for possible injury. We will review treatment methods for those with injuries as well as for daily overuse.
Massage Techniques for Knee Replacement Therapy

Each year, approximately 600,000 knee replacement surgeries are performed in America. This hands on class will walk you through working with those who have undergone knee replacement surgery. We will discuss the timeline of recovery and appropriate techniques during the progression. Techniques will include scar tissue reduction, lymphatic work, myofacial work, and others. While this course focuses on soft tissue work after a knee replacement, these techniques can apply to many knee related concerns, as well as commonpost surgical conditions.
Hydrotherapy: An Introduction

The benefits of both heat and cold in massage therapy are many. In this class, you will learn the basic benefits of hydrotherapy in your massage practice. This 2 day class will provide a springboard for incorporating this type of therapy in your bodywork, including using cold stones, ice massage, hot towel techniques, and various hot stone equipment and techniques.
