Continued Education Policies
General Class Policy
Attendance & Certificates:
To receive a Certificate of Completion and continuing education credit, students must attend the entire class session.
Students who miss more than 30 minutes of instructional time (for any reason) will not be eligible to receive a certificate or continuing education hours for that class.
Professional Standards:
Students are expected to maintain professional behavior at all times, including respect for peers, instructors, and facility property.
This includes arriving on time, refraining from disruptive or inappropriate behavior, and participating in a cooperative and respectful manner.
Students must have completed at least the state-required minimum education in anatomy, physiology, and massage training prior to attending any hands-on continuing education class.
The instructor reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is unsafe, unethical, or unprofessional. In such cases, no refund or credit will be issued.
Classroom Courtesy:
Please silence all devices and limit personal phone use to breaks.
Be considerate of shared space, time, and classmates.
Come prepared with appropriate attire, materials, and an open, learning-oriented attitude.
Communication:
The instructor will communicate important class information, including travel tips, lodging, dining, and local recommendations, via email prior to the event.
Additional communication may also occur after class for follow-up materials, resources, or continuing education documentation.
By registering, you consent to receive class-related emails before and after the course.
Venue Policies:
When classes are held at partner or host locations, students are expected to comply with all venue-specific rules and policies in addition to those outlined here.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Student Cancellations:
More than 14 days before the class:
Cancellations made 15 days or more before the class start date will receive a full refund, minus a 4% processing fee, or may transfer to another class at no additional cost.3–14 days before the class:
Cancellations made 3–14 days before the class start date are eligible for a 50% refund or a one-time transfer to another class within the renewal cycle or up to one year, whichever is longer, subject to availability.Within 72 hours of the class or no-show:
No refunds or transfers will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the class start time or for no-shows.
Transfers & Substitutions:
Students may transfer their registration to another qualified participant up to 7 days before class at no charge.
Transfer requests made after this deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Sickness & Emergencies:
Life happens — if a participant must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstance, refunds or transfers may be granted at the instructor’s discretion.
Documentation may be requested to support the request.
Instructor Cancellations:
In the unlikely event that a class must be cancelled or rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., illness, insufficient enrollment, or weather emergency), students will have the choice of a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date.
The instructor will make best efforts to report schedule changes in a timely manner.
The instructor is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants.
Weather & Emergencies:
If severe weather, natural disaster, or other emergency circumstances require a class to be cancelled, participants will be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, a full refund or reschedule option will be provided.
Venue Policies:
Please note that some hosting venues may have their own additional policies or regulations regarding cancellations, conduct, or facility use. These will apply in addition to this policy when relevant.
