General Policies for Individual Services

Draping will be used during the massage session-only the area being worked on will be uncovered

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for all sessions. Informed written consent must be provided.

 

Massage/bodywork is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension.   Any pain or discomfort during sessions should immediately be brought to the attention of the practitioner so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to level of comfort. Massage or bodywork should not be consumed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and diagnosis should be sought by a physician, chiropractor, or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment . Massage/bodywork practitioners are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of a session given should be construed as such.  Because massage/bodywork should not be performed under certain medical conditions, all known medical conditions and all questions should be answered honestly.   The practitioner must be updated as to any changes in my medical profile and there shall be no liability on the practitioner’s part based on lack of information. Photographs may be taken succeeding verbal agreements and this likeness may be used in marketing. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made will result in immediate termination of the session and I will be liable for payment of the scheduled appointment, as well as persecution in accordance with local regulations.

 

Cancelation Policy

The client is required to notify their therapist of cancelation or reschedule at a time period greater than 6 hours of the scheduled service. Any changes made to the appointment within 6 hours of the service will result in a 50% fee of scheduled service.

Exceptions to this policy include deposits and large events.

If the client is late, session may be shortened to accommodate other clients, full payment shall be due in this case. Emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, such as illness do arise. The therapist reserves the right to deny service to any client.

Exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of Breeze Massage Therapy and Bodywork LLC.

Mobile Service & Travel Fees

Mobile massage services are available within designated travel zones based on driving distance from ZIP code 18229.
Travel fees are charged per practitioner and are applied based on the confirmed service location.

Travel fees are confirmed at the time of booking. Appointments scheduled prior to published pricing updates will retain their original rates.

Multi-Practitioner Bookings

Additional massage therapists are available for mobile services only. Due to space limitations, multiple practitioners cannot be accommodated in the studio.

Multi-practitioner bookings require a minimum of three (3) total service hours across all services booked.

When an additional massage therapist is booked, each service provided by that therapist includes a $30 per-service upcharge. This upcharge applies per service, not per booking or per location.

Space Requirements for Mobile Services

Mobile massage services require a clear, unobstructed space of at least 6 feet wide by 8 feet long per practitioner to safely accommodate the massage table, therapist movement, and equipment.

If adequate space is not available upon arrival, services may need to be adjusted, shortened, or canceled. In such cases, full payment will still apply.

Pricing Updates

Pricing and travel fees are subject to change. Updated rates apply to new bookings scheduled on or after the effective date of the change. Existing appointments booked prior to the effective date will not be affected.
