Large Event Policies

Event Services Policy

*Effective Date: December 1, 2023

1. Deposit Requirement for Service Providers

To ensure the successful coordination of large events and to promote commitment from service providers, a deposit requirement is established. Clients are required to submit a deposit of $150 per service provider to reserve the event. This deposit must be paid by two weeks of the time of service and will be held until the successful completion of the event services they provide. In the event of cancellation by the customer or any breach of the terms outlined in this policy, the deposit may be forfeited. The deposit will be allocated to the cost of services rendered.

2. Definitions

Deposit: monetary amount paid to establish service
Event Coordinator: Contact person, typically, but not exclusively the person responsible for payments and scheduling, for communication with Breeze Massage Therapy and Bodywork LLC.
Service Provider: practitioner performing paid services
Large event: Scheduled event in which services occupy 2 or more hours, or more than 1 service provider is required.

3. Change Policy

a. Change Requests: participants may request changes to the services provided up to six (6) hours before the scheduled start time of the event.

b. Change Availability: Service providers have the discretion to accept or decline change requests, depending on their availability and capacity. They are encouraged to accommodate changes whenever possible but are not obligated to do so.

c. Change Fees: In the event a change is accepted by the service provider, a charge for full cost of service or cost of changed service will be applied, whichever is greater.

d. Cancellation Policy:

i. If the event organizer cancels a service less than six (6) hours before the event, the service provider retains the right to charge the full cost of the service.

ii. If services are unable to be rendered due to the responsibility of the service provider, the deposit will be refunded within 1 business day of service, and a future deposit will be waived.

4. Refunds and Deposit Return

Service Cancellation by the Service Provider: If a service provider cancels their commitment to the event, Breeze Bodywork will make a reasonable attempt to find a replacement and discuss with the event organizer. The deposit will apply towards the service provider’s replacement. Should an agreeable replacement become unavailable, the deposit will be refunded to the customer, and the organizer may seek alternative services.

5. Violation of Policy

In cases where service providers or event organizers fail to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy, the organizers may take appropriate actions, which may include forfeiting deposits, imposing additional charges, or terminating participation in the event.

6. Review and Amendment

This Event Services Policy is subject to periodic review and may be amended as needed. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to all relevant parties in advance.
